Why Does Green Light Blink on ATAK Outdoor Lantern # PT410

Question:

I just set up my lantern and watched your video. Very nice. But the power button on mine blinks a green light when the lantern is off. Should I leave the batteries out when it is in storage?Is this just so you can find it in the dark if the lights go out or an indication of low battery charge?

I spoke with my contact at ATAK and the blinking green light of the # PT410 is to help you locate the lantern in low light. They also recommended taking the batteries out of the lantern when it's not in use for an extended period of time.
