Under-bed Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Hitch RP30144 in 2014 Ford F-350

Question:

I bought this fifth wheel hitch when I owned my F-250 with Factory under bed rail system. Now I have an F350 that has a standard rail system installed. That is the universal above bed system Do they make a kit that will allow me to install this hitch on the above bed rail system? Do they make longer slider rails which would allow me to install this on my above bed system? Or is the only solution to add the additional under bed rail system?

Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30144 is designed to install in the OEM puck system in Ford trucks. Reese does not offer a conversion kit to allow installation of this hitch in a truck that has industry-standard above-bed rails. I confirmed with my technical contact there. You will need either a different hitch made for industry-standard base rails or an under-bed install kit for the new truck.

The under-bed rail kit that will allow you to use your hitch # RP30144 in the 2014 F-350 is part # RP30126. You will need to remove the above-bed rails in order to install this kit.

In the opposite circumstance - when one has a standard hitch and wants to use it in a Ford truck that has the factory pucks - there is an adapter to allow this, part # RP30156.
