In order to install the Edge Gas Evolution CS2 Performance Tuner part # EP85350 on your 2012 Chevy Silverado you will first need to plug the device into a computer and download the software update. Once you have updated the tuner you will then need to plug the device into your vehicle's OBD II port and pair it with your vehicle.

After the device has been updated and paired with the vehicle you can then use it to upload a preloaded tune to the vehicle's ECU. In order to do this you will want to press the home button on the left hand side of the device. You can then scroll down to the "performance tuning" tab. From the performance tuning tab there will be 5 option you can select from; stock tune, Level 1 (Economy), Level 2 (Towing), Level 3 (Performance) and Level 4 (Extreme).

I have attached a screenshot of this process for reference.

What is the best tune for gas mileage, if economy is not an option? On my 2016 Silverado Gas 5.3, the tuner gives me Stock, Towing, Street, Performance and Jammer? Also how do I recalibrate my mph, with 35 inch tires, it’s 3 mph off.

For gas mileage/every day driving, you'll want to use the Street tune. To change the tire size and re-calibrate the speedometer on the tuner you will press the "HOME" button to enter the main menu and scroll down to the "SETTINGS" option. Select "VEHICLE SETTINGS" and then "TIRE SIZE" - from here you can enter in the larger tire size.

@ChrisR awesome. Thanks I will give it a try. If I go on a road trip. Do I want to keep it on the street tune?
