Recommended Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System for a Lifted 2011 Ford F-150
Question:
I need to know the height of each of the units. TFR1504D TFR1502D and TFR1504D-P3 as I have a 2011 F150 and tow a 30 ft. camper my truck has a 2 inch lift but I want there to only be 1inch or less space. Also why is there such a difference in the load ratings on these three units.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFR1504D is for 4 wheel drive models, part # TFR1502D is for 2 wheel drive models, and part # TFR1504D-P3 is for 4 wheel drive models that have been lifted 4". The weight capacities are different for the 4 wheel and 2 wheel drives models because 4 wheel drive models are heavier and require stiffer springs than 2 wheel drive models.
For your 2011 Ford F-150, I recommend using part # TFR1502D if your truck is 2 wheel drive or part # TFR1504D if your truck is 4 wheel drive. The Timbren springs if installed correctly will have about 1/2" to 1" of space between the bottom of the spring to the top of the contact point. If the 2" lift you are referring to is a suspension lift and not a body lift then the you will want to install increments of the part # A25723-90AH00 (1") and part # TA25722-90P00 (1/2") until there is 1" of space between the bottom of the timbren spring to the top of the contact point or axle.
The bolts used to attach the springs to the upper mounting cup is 1.5" long therefore, if the Timbren spacers are installed you would need to match the added lift to your new bolt length. For example, if you installed one 1" spacer and one 1/2" spacer then the new bolt you would need is a 3" long M10 bolt which can be acquired at most local hardware stores.
