Trailer Brake Assemblies for 2008 Forest River Car Hauler
Question:
I have a 2008 Forest River car hauler 8.5 x 24. Would you know off of my VIN number what brakes I would need for my trailer. I would like to replace the whole assembly with the never adjust.

There is a way for you to find the brake assemblies which are going to work for you, though we would be unable to do so with just your VIN. In order to find the correct assemblies, you would need to know your axle's weight capacity, the size of your wheels, your mounting flange bolt pattern and the inside diameter and depth of your hub. For example, the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-468-469 is for 3,500 lb axles with 13", 14" or 15" wheels with a 4 bolt mounting flange pattern and measure 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide.
I've left a link to our page with our selection of brakes for you to take a look at as well as a help article on adding electric brakes. If you get back to me with this information I would be able to tell you what you'l need.
