Will a Performance Tuner Void the Factory Warranty on a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Im picking up my 2018 Silverado 1500 LTZ today, and Im going with the 5yr/100,000mile extended bumper to bumper warranty. I dont want to screw that up! But!! I do want to pep it up a bit.

The Edge tuner will not void your factory warranty just from installing the device. However, if the device causes a problem and something on the vehicle breaks as a result of that then you would be held liable but as a general rule of thumb, the canned tunes that come equipped with these devices are pretty safe and only on rare occasions do they cause serious harm or malfunctions to the vehicle.
