For your 6,000 lb Dexter axles, you can use either the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 6K # 23-458-459 (one kit per axle) to stay with the same name brand, or you can use the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA (again one kit per axle) made by AxleTek. They are comparable in quality, and either will work fine with your current axle and hubs. I've attached an installation video to assist. The assemblies will be labeled for left hand (driver's) and right hand (passenger) side of trailer.
