Bearing Kit, Nev-R-Adjust Brakes, and Lug Nuts For an AxleTek Axle
Question:
Hello, looking to get more parts from you, need an inner and outer bearing for an axletek axle, believe it ia a 5 or 6k has 6 on 5,5 bolt pattern, inner bearing number is 25580, can not find marking on the outer. I also need new brake assembly, it is a 12 hub, Axletek Bd-655-00szt and also has the number 20060712 on it, was looking at your never adjust but have never used them, pros, cons, price? would like to do all 4, but need at least 2 depending on price. Thanks as always. Also looking to 14/ to 3/8 wheel spacers, recently upgraded some wheels and under full load they rub when on rough roads, wheels are 6 on 5.5 I believe, also need a couple 1/2 lug nuts with 13/16 head. thanks again!!!!

To get you the correct bearing kit for your AxleTek axle with an inner bearing number of # 25580, I will need the size (or part number) of the outer bearing and the size (or part number) of the grease seal. There are three different choices of outer bearings that will work, along with two different grease seals.
Since you do not have the part number on the outer bearing, you will want to use dial calipers to measure the dimension on the spindle where the outer bearing sits once installed. You will also need to measure the dimension on the spindle where the grease seal will sit. I am including a picture that will show where to measure for both items. With these dimensions, I will be able to help you get the correct bearing kit for your axle.
I am also including a link to a chart that will list the wheel bearing kits by part numbers and will show the part numbers that are included in each kit.
To replace the brake assemblies on your trailer, you will just need to make sure the brake mounting flanges on your axles will match up to the bolt pattern on the backing plates of the replacement brake assemblies. You will also match the diameter and width (12 inches x 2 inches) of the replacement brake assemblies to the brakes you have now.
The Nev-R-Adjust brake assemblies are a great feature because besides the initial adjustment, which is not required but still recommended, you will not need to adjust the Nev-R-Adjust brakes unless you wanted to. According to Dexter, during travel, the brakes will automatically rotate an adjuster assembly to close the gap caused by lining wear. The brakes will remain in the optimum braking adjustment for safer braking.
We do not sell any wheel spacers. The 1/2 inch lug nuts I have with a 13/16 inch head size is the Redline trailer lug nut # CE11051, which is an open-ended lug nut and the Americana trailer lug nut # AM26NR, which is a closed end lug nut.
