Can the Diversi-Tech Ball Mount # DTSTBM6600 Be Used in the Rise Position
Question:
I purchased a DTSTBM6600 7 rise and 6 . I installed it and love it except with it in the position the shank is long enough to scrape under certain conditions. This unit is to nice and pretty to scratch up allowing it to scape the ground, so I turned it up right in the rise position. But I noticed in the paperwork that it said do not invert. Is there any reason why I can not turn it with the shank up in what I would call the rise position?

I spoke with my contact at Diversi-Tech and she informed me that you can absolutely use this Diversi-Tech Ball Mount # DTSTBM6600 in the rise position.
I asked her about how you saw something in the paperwork that said not invert the ball mount and she was unsure what I was referring to, but she assured me that you can use this # DTSTBM6600 in the rise position.
I have pulled a couple of these ball mounts from our warehouse and I will agree, these are much too pretty to scratch up.
