How to Determine If Fifth Wheel Rail to Gooseneck Hitch Adapter Fits Rails in Truck Bed

I have a set of horizontal rails already mounted in my truck. I have tried 2 different fifth wheel attachments and both did not fit. I dont want to remove the existing rails. How can I find the right hitch to fit the rails or is there a universal kit.
