Dolly Recommendation for Moving Utility Trailer In and Out of Garage

Question:

Hello I had a question about the MaxxTow Trailer Dolly with 1-7/8inch Hitch Ball - Black Powder I have a landscaping trailer with landscaping equipment on it at all times but my issue is that when I need to get in and out of the garage taking the trailer out can be difficult at times can this handle the weight if I was pulling out and into the drive way about like maybe 20-30feet max? And then putting it back in? And if so can I get the tow ball to a 2” instead of a 1-7/8”?

A basic trailer dolly is designed for much lighter trailer than what you have.

For something similar that would make getting the trailer in and out very easy you'd want the part # TVXL2 which has a crank handle that turns the dolly wheel so that you aren't having to drag the trailer around. I attached a review video for this for you to check too.
