Does Installing Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 Require Additional Grounding

Question:

Im running a bypassed lighting kit on a towed vehicle similar to a RM-152-LED. I use a Blue Ox battery braking kit and the Subaru manual says to leave the key in ON not ACC so I have concerns about discharging the battery. I have a 7 to 6 wire cable between the RV and the towed vehicle w/ 12V coming down the center terminal of the output wire. If I install a Item # RM-156-25 to charge the battery will I need to somehow need to integrate the ground from the RVvia the plug to the towed vehicles body or battery to close the loop to get the battery to charge on the towed vehicle? Or does running the hot wire w/ this kit somehow put power in battery?

When installing the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 you do not need to ground anything. The power from the tow vehicle's battery will easily transfer to the towed vehicle's battery and not need any additional grounding.
