Rail Kit Adapter Recommendation to Fit Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch in 2017 Chevy Factory Rail Kit

Question:

have new 2017 silverado 2500HD with 5th wheel prep package. I want to use my current Reese hitch that used the bed rail kit. Do you have an adaptor that would work so my old hitch can be set into and use the 4 pins to lock in place?

We have exactly what you are looking for. The Demco rail adapter part # DM6194 fits the factory rail kit of your 2017 Chevy Silverado if your truck has a short bed. If instead you have a long bed the correct adapter is part # DM6206.

Both of these adapters will provide a set of industry standard fifth wheel rails to fit the Reese hitches you have. GM made the factory rail kits different dimensions though depending on the length of the bed.
