Will Adding a Cold Air Intake with a Performance Tuner Help my 2016 Ford F-150 5.0L V8 Engine

When adding the edge CTS2 to my 2016 f150 5.0 should I add anything like cold air intake or anything or can it be installed alone on a stock truck?

The Edge Gas Evolution CTS2 Performance Tuner part # EP85450 can be installed on your 2016 Ford F-150 without supporting modifications. However, in order to receive the full benefit of the tuner, I recommend adding a cold air intake such as the Airaid MXP Cold Air Intake System with SynthaFlow Oiled Filter part # AR400-293.
A cold air intake will work extremely well with a performance tuner. When customers seek to increase performance and improve fuel efficiency, the above two products are usually the first step as they are very easy to install and provide a great increase over stock. According to Airaid, this intake can provide you with an increase in both horsepower and torque up to 33 HP and 35 TQ.
