Recommended Performance Tuner to Disable AFM on a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 5.3L V8 Engine

I do have a performance tuner that is confirmed to work with the 5.3L V8 engine in your 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 but we no longer carry DiabloSport products. Instead, I recommend taking a look at the Edge Gas Evolution CTS2 Performance Tuner part # EP85450.

I spoke to my contact at Edge Products and they informed me that the Edge CTS2 will disable the active fuel management (AFM) system on your truck. According to Edge, this tuner can provide an increase in both horsepower and torque up to 18 HP and 27 TQ. For a more cost effective version of this tuner with the same features, part # EP85350 is the same tuner with a smaller monitor.
