Brake Controller Wiring on a 2002 Ford F-250
Question:
2002 Ford F250. we are hooking up the brake controller. Which fuse controls the Brake? The manual states Trailer Tow Electric Brake this is the fuse we are running off, We have replaced this fuse and this is still not hot.

When you say that the brake controller is not hot after replacing the fuse, do you mean that when tested, the 12v power feed to it shows no current, or does the controller not work? Depending on the brand and model of controller, some of them will not show any activity or will not light up unless a trailer is connected. If you are not showing any current on the power feed, and the fuse for that circuit is good, then the relay in that power distribution box under the hood could be bad, which would cause the problem you describe.
