Tire Chains for 2017 Ford F-350 4x4 Dually for Heavy-Duty Gooseneck Towing

Question:

I am looking for your expert recommendations on Snow Chains for my 2017 F350 4x4 DRW both front wheels and rear wheel Dually tires. The size for both front and rear are 245/75-17. I will be hauling loads on a Flatbed Gooseneck in excess of 17K lbs with about 5k tongue weight on the rear axle of the truck, so I need a chain that can withstand the abuse. Thanks so much.

For the 245/75-17 tires on your 2017 F-350 4x4 dually we have suitable heavy-duty tire chains for your towing needs.

For the front tires I suggest the Pewag All Square Chains # PWE2439S. Square links provide more edges to bite into ice. These feature case hardened steel alloy material strong enough for your towing needs. These will help front axle traction to maintain your steering and braking performance in mud, snow or ice. These chains will also be tough enough for off-road use. Use tensioner kit # PW105.

For the rear dually axle I suggest the Titan V-Bar Chains # TC4831CAM, a complete set of four chains for dually use. V-bar links will dig into ice and packed snow. Use tensioner # TCMA2.

Videos for both chain products are linked to show their features and installation.

Always operate your rig at reduced speeds when chains are in use and remove them as soon as possible after reaching clear roadways.
