Is Change Key Needed to Install Thule Lock Core Into Thule Rack

Is a change key required to install Thule one-key locks in bare products, where no locks are currently installed?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you'll need to use the change key to allow the lock core to fully slide into the Thule rack. Once the key is removed it will then be attached to the rack. If you need a change key you'd want part # 853-1251.
