According to the owner's manual for your 2004 GMC Sierra, tire chains cannot be used on 265/75-16 tires due to clearance issues between the chains and vehicle components. However, we understand certain states and conditions require them by law therefore the choice on whether or not to use tire chains will ultimately be up to you.
With that being said, the Pewag Brenta-C 4X4 Snow Tire Chains part # PWXMR82V will fit 265/75-16 tires and work well in both snow and ice. The diamond shaped pattern of the chains provide maximum tire coverage and do not offer the harsh ride in comparison to ladder style chains. The color-coded sections of the chains make installation easy. The chains come with a reusable storage case.
I have attached a review video of these tire chains for you as well.
