Why Would Hopkins Smart Hitch # HM50002 Have Grid Lines Disappear

I have a smart hitch camera and sensor system #50002. The guide lines on the monitor worked fine for some months, and now they have just disappeared. Whats up with that?

I spoke with my contact at Hopkins and what you are seeing is from the previous model of the Smart Hitch Backup Camera. In the past they had a small programming glitch which has since been corrected. How long ago did you buy the camera? The current versions of the # HM50002 should have this issue taken care of.
