Question:
What is the maximum speed that can be reached with this item? If I go from deep snow to blacktop back to deep snow....what affect with the chain give me?

Max speed for any tire chain is going to be right around 30 mph. You have to take them off any time you get to dry pavement or you'll wear out the chains quickly and potentially cause a broken chain to tear up your vehicle.
