Will Pollak 7 to 4 Pole Adapter Work On 2009 GMC Sierra With Factory 7-Way

Will this product do the electrical as well as the physical conversion of the separate brake/tail lights on my 09 GMC Sierra 7 blade factory RV connector to the 4 wire flat connector on my trailer. Desired end result: Plug adapter into the truck, plug the trailer into the adapter and have both tail and brake/turn lights on the trailer?
