Greystone Electric Fireplace # 324-000065 Mounting

Question:

i am installing a Greystone Electric Fireplace # 324-000065. i have it in the opening but i do not see any brackets or holes to attach it to the cabinet. i checked the manual and it says nothing about a permanent mount. also is their a minimum amount of space needed on top of unit for airflow?

The 26" Greystone Electric Fireplace with Remote Control # 324-000065 has a trim piece that fits over the mounting holes. The vertical separation between those mount hole on center is 15-3/4 inches and 26-1/2 inches horizontally on center. The minimum space I recommend on the top is about 3 inches. As you stated the manufacturer does not give this dimension requirement, but you will need just a little space in that area, so a trim piece may be needed to allow this.
