Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for 2013 Ram 3500 DRW Short Bed With B&W Gooseneck Hitch

I own a Ram 3500 DRW with the short bed, i believe 6.5 ft. Am purchasing a Forest River Sandpiper 5th wheel, GVWR 15,500, hitch 2,475#. length is 429. Vehicle has the BandW goosneck ball installed. Which BandW hitch do you recommend?

For your 2013 Ram 3500 DRW with short bed, I recommend the B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3400. This is the only hitch that is directly compatible with your Gooseneck hitch without any adapter needed. This will allow you 12 inches of travel to give you greater turning clearance with your short bed truck. This hitch is made specifically for the B&W Underbed Gooseneck System to work exceptionally well and still give you a clean bed when not in use.

You may want to consider the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long # C56070 to add a second 7-way to the bed of your truck for easy connection access if you don't already have one.
