Rhino Rack Roof Mount Cargo Basket on a 2015 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab

Question:

Will the large rhino rack x tray fit onto my tacoma that has the oem cross bars? My main concern is the clearance between the roof of the truck and the cross bar. It ends up measuring to be 1 1/2 gap. Will the racks clamps still work in this tight spot? I've got a 2015 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab.

I measured one of the mounting brackets for the Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket, part # RMCB02, and they are 1-1/4 inches tall at their thickest point. This leaves you a small, but manageable, amount of room underneath your roof rails to properly mount the basket to your 2015 Toyota Tacoma.

The mounting brackets screw in from the top, so it will be fairly easy to install because you don't have to mess with under the basket wing nuts or anything to install.
