Roller and Rail Kit Recommendation to Install Curt Q24 Fifth Wheel Hitch in 2013 Dodge Ram 2500

Question:

Have 2013 short bed dodge desiel. Bought a q24 from a friend without mounting kit. Someone told me i needed a slider since it was a short bed. If i order your mounting kit + the collar to fit on pin,will tjis work on my truck. Only needed a16000. But got a good deal on hitch.

To install a Curt fifth wheel hitch in the bed of your 2013 Dodge Ram 2500 short bed you have to have a rail kit. For that you'd want a custom fit kit like the Curt part # C16426-204 as it will minimize drilling and install time over a universal style kit.

Since you do have a short bed truck you are going to need a slider to allow you to make tight turns. What you can do is take the head off of the Q24 that you have and install it on the R5 Roller part # C16570 and you'll have a Q24 slider hitch which will work well for you.
