The various 5th wheel landing gear kits we offer cross many brands and price points too. Some of these kits are actually identical to one another (or very nearly so) and are simply branded differently, some being from the industry's main OEM supplier, Lippert Components, and others from aftermarket brands. In this particular product category I truly would not base my choice on brand name since you might get the same item for less (or more!) based on the branding.

What I do recommend to you is to choose a set of landing gear that is rated for at least the same capacity, but preferably more than the original capacity. With jacks, winches and landing gear it is always best to use an over-spec item that will not have to operate near its limits. Conservative operation, meaning below maximum capacity, typically results in less trouble and a longer working lifetime for the product. The good news is that we also offer replacement/repair parts for all the landing gear sets we sell. A system rated for near half of the trailer GVWR will provide a nice safety margin.
