Do Glacier Tire Cables Fit 2018 Subaru Outback with Tire Size 225/65-17

Question:

I am looking at the Glacier cable chains for my 2018 outback 225/65-17. Will these rub on the inside of the tire along the strut mount area? I tried the Super Z6 brand, and they didnt work. Looking at the video posted of the 2017 Outback it looks ok, but I just want to verify. Thank you much

When we installed the Glacier tire cables part # PW1042 on a 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon we found that they did not rub on anything and they fit and worked well. I attached the install video below that shows this.

We do have to recommend you stick with whatever the vehicle manufacturer recommends for restrictions on tire chains as well.
