Will the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Brake Controller Work on 2010 Toyota Highlander

Question:

I am interested in the Prodigy RF in my 2010 Toyota Highlander with V-6, tow package, and flat four wiring harness. Is this possible? The Highlander is not on your list of applicable vehicles. Thanks.

The Curt Echo Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 referenced in your question can definitely be used with your 2010 Toyota Highlander. The Echo will fit and work well with any vehicle that has a 7-Way connector with an active 12 volt power source.

With this in mind, you will just need to install a fully functional 7-Way on your vehicle for this (or any trailer brake controller) to work properly. I recommend using the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7L. This kit will include everything needed to install a 7-Way from the existing 4-Way on your Highlander. With the 7-Way installed, the Curt Echo will install and work great with your vehicle.
