On your existing lift motor, there should be either a 7 or 17 printed on the label or etched into the motor itself. The number etched or placed on the lift motor represents the revolutions per minute (RPM) at which the motor operates. If you have the 7 RPM model, we no longer have the part, but if you have the 17 RPM model then you would want part # FVK6010-80.

Another way to tell what motor you have would be to find out when the roof vent was made. If the vent was made prior to 2014 then you have the 7 RPM model but if the vent was made after 2014 then you have the 17 RPM model. If you still are not sure which motor you have, part # FVK6010-80 can be used for both 7 RPM and 17 RPM by simply switching the wires. For example, instead of red to red and black to black, you will need to connect the red wire to the black wire and the the black wire to the red wire.
