Pilot Light Not Staying Lit with Camco LP Gas Control
Question:
Why when I light the pilot does it immediately go off

There are a number of possible reasons why the pilot light is not staying lit on your LP Gas Control # CAM08641. The most common cause though for this is a bad thermocouple.
We do offer several lengths of replacement thermocouples from Camco, including the 12-inch # CAM09253, 18-inch # CAM09273 and the 36-inch # CAM09333. These are universal-fit items that are designed to fit RV gas water heaters and furnaces.
Otherwise, if your RV has a master switch like # AT91959, then it might be the cause of your issue. We also have a replacement theremostat available with part # CAM08143 if you find that this is the problem.
