How to Charge Eight 6-Volt Batteries in Series/Parallel

Question:

I have eight new six volt deep cycle batteries that I want to charge/maintain. Four are for the residential refrigerator and four are for the house. These batteries will be connected in series/parallel. What is the best charger for these combinations? They will be charged outside the motor home in our garage. Battery Amp Hours 208 each

I do have an option for you to charge eight 6-volt batteries but the batteries will need to be split into two banks with four batteries in each bank. In order to charge all eight batteries with four banks you would need an AC to DC battery charger rated for at least 832 amp hours (AH). Unfortunately we do not have a battery charger rated for that high of a capacity but if you decide to split the batteries into two banks with four batteries then you could use the CTEK MULTI US 25000 High-Capacity 12-Volt Battery Charger part # CTEK56674 to charge each bank.

If you split the batteries into two banks with four batteries, each bank would be rated for 416 (AH). The above battery charger is rated for up to 500 AH therefore would work well for you. I have attached a review video of this battery charger for you.
