Will Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Fit a 2010 Cedar Creek 36CKTS 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
Is this system suitable for a 2010 Cedar Creek 36CKTS fifth wheel that is 39foot - 9inch long, has a Lippert frame and weighs 16,500#? I thought that I have seen Ground Control 6 point systems for longer trailers. If it is suitable, what is done with the existing hydraulic front landing gear during install? Are the hydraulic lines simply plugged?

Expert Reply:
The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System # LC358590 isn't trailer-specific so you could use it on your 5th wheel trailer. The 6 point system you referenced was only an OEM option so it is not available as an aftermarket item. You can just plug up the hydraulic lines you have now and stow them out of the way.
