Will the TruXedo TonneauMate Toolbox Work with the TruXedo TruXport Tonneau Cover 2007 Dodge Ram

Question:

I have a 2007.5 Dodge Ram 3500 dually 8-foot bed with 5th wheel hitch. Im looking to get a below-rail truck box and a tonneau cover. Im interested in the TruXedo TonneauMate box and the TruXedo TruXport cover. I want to install the TonneauMate box as far forward in the bed. Will the mounting system clamps of the TruXport cover interfere with the installation and operation of the TonneauMate box if the box is installed as far forward in the bed right behind the cab?

I spoke with my contact at TruXedo and they informed me that the TruXedo TruXport Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover part # TX248101 would not interfere and work will with the TruXedo TonneauMate Truck Bed Toolbox part # TX1117416 on your 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup with the 8' bed while installed in the furthest position forward closest to the cab.

In order to ensure that the above toolbox and tonneau cover will work with the 5th wheel hitch installed on your truck you would also need to ensure that no part of the 5th wheel hitch head extends over the bed rails. You would also need to measure from the portion of the bed closest the cab to the closest point of the 5th wheel hitch. As long as the closest part of the 5th wheel hitch is not within 23" from the part of the bed closest to the cab then the above combination will work well for you.
