Solution for Installing Curt Weight Distribution System on Trailer with Frame Clearance Issue  

Question:

Hi, I bought the Curt c17501 for by 14LX big tex dump trailer. Problem is that there is a hydraulic box thats in the way of the 4 inch mark for the sway bar. I have room 8 inches back to be able to install the bracket. Would this work or do I need to buy a different type of bracket? Thanks and Regards,

Curt offers a chain hanger that is designed to bolt to the side of a trailer frame, part # C17005. This is designed for applications like yours where there isn't access above the trailer frame where the hangers need to be. These will work great with the part # C17501 that you have.
