Spacing of Installation Holes on the Ericson Dock Cleat # EM53400
Question:
I am trying to find out the spacing of the holes on these , because I want to replace the cleats that came with my Racks which are 2” center to center . By the way the cleats that come with the racks are practically useless as the ears are inverted and you can’t loop anything on them , if however there is some secret way to tie stuff off to them besides using a hook and strap please share . Other than the useless cleats these racks are great , thanks.

I went out into our warehouse to measure the Erickson Dock Cleat - Galvanized Steel - 6" Long # EM53400 for you. The holes are 1-1/2 inches on center.
There really isn't a trick to the system you mentioned, but this cleat will hold strong if you are willing to change from the 2 inch on center cleat.
