Yes, for a custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit on your 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, you will need the Reese 5th Wheel Installation Kit , part # RP50064-58. This install kit will fit both the 6-1/2 and 8 foot bed models of the 2006 Silverado 2500 HD.
This custom install kit will allow you to install your fifth-wheel hitch in almost half the time of a universal kit and will reduce the amount of drilling. This Reese Custom Kit is compatible with Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, Valley and Husky fifth-wheel hitches.
