Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2012 Toyota Highlander with 4-Way

Question:

I have a 4 prong flat connector at my hitch and need 7 prong adapter for my trailer which has electric brakes. My Highlander has a factory converter under the dash besides the 4 prong at the hitch. I own a P3 brake controller so I need the related wiring and circuit breakers to adapt my P3 to the Highlander. I saw a video on your website addressing but cant find it today.

We have a solution we can provide, but we don't have a factory wiring way to install the brake controller so you'd have to hardwire your P3 part # 90195.

You would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
