Electric Jack Replacement Switch
Question:
The switch on the tongue jack has stopped working and I am looking for a replacement, but the switches I find online have different part numbers, not sure which one to buy for my rv. Does it matter? If so how can I find out which is the correct switch for my trailer? Is there a way I can test the jack before I buy a new switch to make sure that is in fact the problem? I have a 2011 Tango 329 BHDS.

I have linked the page to all of our electric jack switches. They are all made the same basic way so you are looking at the location and style for a replacement. If you know the brand of your jack, that will also assist. To test if the switch is bad, you can simply bypass it by connecting the wires. There will be one power wire to the motor to extend and another one to retract and you of course will also need to connect a ground wire to the frame. This will let you know if your motor is bad or simply the switch.
