Could Rampage Light Bar # RA960135 Tap Into Tow Bar Lighting Circuits
Question:
I have purchased this light bar which I will plug in to the 4 pin connector on my truck. I would also like to hard wire it into a separate tail light system wired to the tail lights that I connect to my motor home so it will also work with the motor home lights when I tow the truck. There would only be one power source at a time Do you see any problem in doing this connection?

It's definitely possible to do what you are asking about, but it's going to take some creativity on your end to connect the tow bar lighting functions to the light bar as we don't have a recommended way of doing that. Since these lights are LED which don't draw much amperage the additional draw would not be an issue.
Most tow bar wiring comes to the vehicle through a 4-way connection like what this light has. One solution would be to splice a 4-way into that wiring with something like part # 18252 which you could then plug the part # RA960135 in to.
