Lightweight, Economical Trunk Mount Bike Rack for a 2016 Nissan Versa with Factory Spoiler

Question:

I need to get a trunk bike rack for a 2016 Nissan Versa with spoiler. I am a short 4' 11" small woman that needs a light bike rack economically priced to transport her bike to bike trails and to load the bike, the arms need to be straight out. What trunk bike rack would you suggest?

For a trunk mount bike rack confirmed to work with the factory spoiler on your 2016 Nissan Versa, I recommend taking a look at the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier part # TH910XT. As you can see in the attached video on a similar 2016 Nissan Versa, the bike rack is extremely easy to use and holds up well on the road.

The Thule Passage 2 also only weighs about 12 lbs making it extremely lightweight and easy to install. All you need to do to install the bike on the rack is loosen two cradle straps, place the bike onto the cradles, and then tighten the straps back down.

If your bike does not have a horizontal cross tube then I recommend using the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # 64005 to ensure your bike is transported at a level angle. You may also want to consider the 10' Cable Lock part # e98891 to lock your bike to the rack.
