Does a Tail Light Wire Get Connected to Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # 118158
Question:
I have a Buick 2017 Envision it has a separate brake light you said a 118158 would work on this vehicle but what happens to the brown wire this set up says nothing about it I BOUGHT THE SET UP BUT NEED MORE INFO

The brown tail light wire would bypass converter # 118158. The only connections that get made to the converter are the combined left turn/brake light and right turn/brake light. It can be grounded to a bare metal surface or to the ground in the wiring harness.
