Availability of Base Plates for 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with Active Air Shutters

If the car has active air shutters can i still install and use the Tow bar: The Nighthawk comes with power cord and safety cables Part #676 Baseplate: Part #521446-4 *Crossbar style - allows you to use towing accessories like the Guardian Rock Shield Crossbar Assembly: Part #910021-00 Guardian Rock Shield: Part #4000

The base plate kits we currently have available for the 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, such as the Roadmaster EZ4 # RM-521446-4 that you mentioned, will not fit on Jeep models with the Active Air Shutters.

Your best option for towing your Jeep will be to use a tow dolly like the Roadmaster # RM-2050-1. This will allow you to tow your vehicle without installing a tow bar or base plates. This particular tow dolly features self-steering wheels and electric brakes for stopping. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
