Will the Thule Trunk Bike Racks - TH910XT work on a 2006 jetta? Do I need the adapter for the womens bike?

Yes, according to Thule, the Passage 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack, # TH910XT, will fit a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta. I have included a link to the installation details and a video review of the rack for you to view.
The adapter bar, # TH982XT, is not completely necessary but I highly recommend it. It will make carrying alternative frame bikes more level on the rack. When bikes are not level, the center of gravity changes and more weight will be pushed to one side of the rack. I have included a link to a video review of the adpater as well.
