Is a Lube Plate Needed with a Demco HiJacker Auto-Slide and Locking Plate DM6062
Question:

Expert Reply:
You would not need a lube plate with a Demco HiJacker Autosliding 5th wheel trailer hitch because the hitch head will turn with the trailer pin box. The locking plate # DM6062 has a piece on the bottom that wedges into the hitch head funnel. Then the force of making the turn will rotate the head and engage the auto-sliding feature.
