Can D-Ring Bumper Mount Adapters be Used to Tow a Jeep Wrangler with a Stowmaster Tow Bar
Question:
Thanks for your quick answer to my original question same subject heading as above. My thought is the Stowmaster will work ball hitch to RV, remove connector brace from Stowmaster to end up with two loose connection arms, add the connectors to each of the loose arms, then terminate the arms on the two d-rings of the jeep. When the jeep disconnects from the tow arm via the d rings, then I need to remove the Stowmaster and store vs having it remain attached to the RV it would drag since it is not mounted. So, if I am okay with Stowmaster being stored when not in use, would the integrity of the tow system work when pulling?

Expert Reply:
If the D-ring bumper mounts on the Rock Crawler bumper are 3/4 inches then the Roadmaster adapters, part # RM-035, will work on the bumper. If the mounts are 1 inch then instead part # RM-035-1 is the correct size.
However, neither are compatible with the Roadmaster Stowmaster tow bar. The adapters can only be used with tow bars that are mounted onto the motorhome instead of on the vehicle, like the Falcon 2, part # RM-520.
