Hello Support, I have a Husky 5th Wheel EZ roller hitch 16k. Will this work in a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab shortbed truck? If so what hardware kit do I need?

Yes, your Husky 5th Wheel EZ roller 16K hitch will work in your 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab shortbed truck. You will need the Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for the 2003 Dodge Ram, item # RP50040-58, see instructions link. This custom install kit will be much quicker to install and require less drilling, while providing the same towing capacities as the Reese Semi-Custom Base Rail Installation Kit, # RP30035-023, that your referenced.

You may also want to consider the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # HM42137, which will plug inline with your tow package wiring and provide a trailer connector in the bed of the truck for your fifth-wheel trailer.
