Can Hopkins Backup Sensor System # HM60100VA Install on 2013 BMW X3
Question:
Hi I really like the look of the product. It is just what I need. Can it be fitted to a BMW X3 - everything seems a little bit more complicated with them. In particular accessing the wiring Thanks

The universal nature of the Hopkins Backup Sensor System # HM60100VA allows it to install any vehicle that has standard taillight wiring.
To install it you will need to locate the reverse light circuit. The wires that go to your reverse lamps will be the ones to use. You will need to use a circuit tester like our part # PTW2993 to determine which wire has voltage when your 2012 Toyota Sienna is put into reverse.
Once you find the correct wire you will need to use the included quick-connect connectors to tap into this circuit. This will tell the sensors when to turn on and then when something comes in range the alert will sound.
I attached an install video for this kit for you to check out as well.
