Rubber Adjusters for Glacier Tire Cables Installed on Tire Size 265/65R18

Question:

I have tire cables PW2028C in my cart but not sure now which adjusters to add PW103 or PW105. My tires are P265/65R18 and the video recommends PW105. However, I just measured the diameter of my rims and they are 19.5 inches. Should I go with the smaller PW105? Thanks!

Helpful Expert Reply:

For your rim size of 18 inches (based on size P265/65-18), you'd want the part # PW105 as it's designed for 15 inch to 18 inch wheel sizes.

Where you measured is larger than the tire size, but that's because the wheel size is where the tire mounts to the wheel and not the outboard flange/lip that goes around that. So your size falls into the 18 inch diameter like what the # PW105 calls for.
