How to Determine Correct Replacement Yates Ribbed Wobble Roller
Question:
I am looking to replace a few rollers on one of our boat trailers. I have found the product I think on your web page, but there are a lot of sizes that are very similar. I need a yetes 530R ribbed wobble roller the ones we have has an 8A also stamped on it. Does that help us find the right size? Without a caliper it his hard to determine the correct size with a ruler. Does the 8A mean anything? Thanks

To determine which Yates ribbed wobble roller is the correct one you will simply need to measure the diameter of the roller as a whole, as well as the diameter of the hole where the roller shaft goes through. For example; part # YR530R-8P has a 5" diameter and is compatible with a shaft that has a 1" diameter. The center hole measures about 1-1/8" in diameter.
This is the most accurate way to get the correct roller as I am not sure what the 8A means on your current roller. You should be able to determine fit using a tape measurer.
